What Causes Pain Post Cataract Surgery?

Sir my mother underwent cataract operation on 18 Feb,2010 and some nerve is causing severe pain just 3-4 days after that and most of the diagnosis done so far shows everything normal, eye sight too normal but she has continously acute pain and is unable to take any medicine either.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your mother is having pain following cataract surgery.
Since the eye sight is normal no need to worry. This can be because of inflammation induced by surgery and this can be treated by the use of anti-inflammatory drugs.
Along with this she needs to continue the steroids and other medications which would have prescribed by your doctor after surgery.
She will be fine, no need to worry.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
