I am a 41 year old white male. I am 5’10” and 185 lbs. I have pain radiating from just below my left ear down to my jaw.
How to explain this? This afternoon I forced air into a canal or something by filling my left cheek with air and flexing (I don’t even know why I did it but I did). When it happened I immediately felt the air move and “inflate” something and stay there. With my left hand I pressed on the area and felt/heard the air “squish” out. Since then I have had mild blurring in my left eye and when I chew gum the left side of my neck, jaw and area around my ear hurts.
You have just attempted forcing air through the eustachian tube to the middle ear, building up pressure in the middle ear.Dont chew by that side for some days and consult ent to examine your ears.
