What Causes Pain Under Breastplate While On Norphen?

I recently had surgery to repair a 3cm tear in my rotator cuff and reattach my bicep tendon (right arm). I have been taking Norphen 10/325 for 7 weeks. I started having pain in my upper left side under my breastplate and am wondering if the meds could cause stomach issues. Or could this be from lying on that side so much? My orthopedist didn t really address this concern today during my checkup. Thoughts?

hello mam,

Taking norphen for a long periods does cause GI upsets in some people. You can take antacids and proton pump inhibitors if you are facing pain in your abdomen.

Norphen does not cause pain the the breast plate expect for the fact that you feel the burning pain in the stomach as pain in the breast region.
Some times lying on one side does cause pain on the side that is being crushed. I suggest you to have warm baths that will take away the pain and also apply gels available for the muscular pains.
