What Causes Pain Under Ribs While Sneezing Or Coughing?
When I cough, clear my throat, and sneeze. I have a sharp pain on my right side under my ribs. When I go to the bathroom are pass gas and sneeze it really hurts from the front to back. When I am relax I don t feel it I am not nauseous are my stomach hurts. You can poke and prod and no Discomfort. Only when I cough, sneeze, and bend over and have a bowel movement. Please help

Chest pain on coughing, sneezing, laughing, deep breathing is known as pleuritic pain. It is seen in lung infection like pneumonia, pleural effusion, tuberculosis etc. So better to get done chest x ray. If chest x ray is normal than no need to worry much for your pain. It is mostly due to musculoskeletal pain. So apply warm water pad on affected areas. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
