What Causes Pain Under The Ribcage With Bad Congestion On The Chest?
My husband had 5 by passes 15 years ago and a bad hip replacement 4 years ago,was a very heavy smoking,dose no walking as his feet are very bad,he is 73 and has had pain a few times on the right side under rib cage,but has very bad congestion on his chest and very noisy

Right sided chest pain and bad congestion has to be evaluated and then treated.
i recommend him to visit his treating physician and if needed have some basic investigations like xray chest and then to start antibiotics as per his advice.

bronchitis
bronchial asthma
pneumonia
COPD
pleuritis
