What Causes Pain Under The Ribs?
my husband is having pain under his right rib. Constant dull pain but then tracks with a sharp pain. for a 15 or 16 second stop u in your tracks sharp pain. The doctor here said it is just a cramp without doing any kind of tests. I just wanted to get your take on this. Thank you so much.

Your query being appreciated, I have gone the history given here, and I could say that it could be the pain due to acid peptic disease but it can not be taken granted for that only, and in my opinion better to get done the cardiac evaluation test, like EKG and ECHO, for the acid peptic disease PPI (Proton pump inhibitor ) can be tried, hope this information helps.
