What Causes Pain Under The Shoulder Blade?

Hi Doc! My name is Dave Eid I am a 53 year old male. I have had this weird pain down my spine and now i feel it underneath my shoulder blades. I haven t suffered any injury to that area and have no idea what it could be. It s more discomfort than anything else, but I can really feel it. Thank you! Dave

Hi,

The pain in the spine under the shoulder blades can be related to a muscle spasm. Oral muscle relaxants, hot compress and regular exercises can help.
