What Causes Pain While Urinating?

I am a 30 yr old woman. Have had 1 child in 2000 plus 1 miscarriage in 2005. Had a cyst removed in 2010 and found endimetroisis. Was told my uterius was inlarged. It is VERY painful to have intercourse so I just don t do it. However, now it is extreamly painful to urinate it burns like I am torn down there. And also feels like I have something falling out of my vagina. What could this be and how serious is it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Difficult to say, perhaps a simple urinary tract infection or pelvic organ prolapse. It is necessary that you have a pelvic examination, preferably by a urogynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
