I have been seeing a guy for 10 months sexually, and for the past 4 months he has been complaining about pain/burning when he pees. But it s off and on. He went to the Doc on Tues, and he says the doc told him he had a bacterial infection He doesn t remember or know how to pronounce it, but it starts w/the letter g . He was told it was gotten from the vagina. He said the doc said it wasn t ghonerreah. Doc gave him an antibiotic. Doc also told him that this infection has been prevelant in our county. He supplied a urine sample, but doesn t know if it was going to be sent to the lab. Of all the times we have been together sexually, we have only not used a condom maybe 3 times at the most, and the last time was in the fall. I have genital herpes, and have had it for 11 years. I rarely get outbreaks anymore, but since I AM sexually active, I take Valtex daily. He knows about the herpes. I have no symtoms indicating any other kind of vaginal problem. No itching, burning, odors, nor discharge...Nothing what so ever.
