What Causes Pain, burning Sensation And White Discharge In Vagina?
Hi! I have a question. After my boyfriend pleasures me put his fingers inside me I guess I wasn t lubricated enough and I don t think he washed his hand so there s that. Afterwards I started to feel a pain of irritation in my vagina every time I wiped after I went to the bathroom. I have had white discharge and i ve noticed an odd smell from my vagina recently. It s not a bad smell but its not a pleasant smell either. So my question is do I have a yeast infection. I ve recently had stinging burning sensations which are discomforting but not super painful.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely bacterial vaginosis associated with yeast infection. It is better to have a pelvic examination and swab by GP or gynecologist to rule out that.In such case i treat with combination of antibiotics like metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or as oral tab.Your sensation of pain in vagina can be due to injury by finger stimulation.I also recommend my patients to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by preveny getting further infections.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
