What Causes Painful Blisters In Mouth After Teeth Removal?
I had 3 teeth removed last monday and also 3 root canals done. When I left the dentist I had a big blister below my nose that formed within an hour after ariving home. Now its Friday and I have small blistors on the corner of right mouth. They are very small and painful. What caused the blisters???
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The blisters near the corner of the mouth could be because of the herpes virus infection. You might have got the infection while you were taking the treatment or it can be because of the stress. Nothing to worry its a self limiting condition but you can take topical antiviralointments like acivir. you can also take topical anesthetic and analgesic like anabel gel. Apply 3-4times daily for 5 days. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
blisters could be caused by the sodium hypochlorite spilling on the mucosa used as a disinfectant in root canal treatment. use hexigel or chlorhexidine mouthwash for a week or so.avoid spicy food which obviously is an irritant.
