What Causes Painful Bowel Movement Post Surgery For Thrombosed External Hemorrhoid?
Hi doctor, I had major rectal pain about 2 months ago and after several weeks off work and a few ER visits I was diagnosed with and interan hemorrhoid as well as a rectal tear. A few weeks later I experienced a thrombosed external hemorrhoid and had it lanced 2 days after it was noticable. I had the usual recovery with a week of bleeding and painful BM's. After a week the bleeding stopped and the BM's had become more tolerable, still painful but nothing to scream about. I am now still having painful BM's and it feels as if it might be swollen inside my rectum. Is this normal 3 weeks post surgery? Or is there something else I need to get checked out?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this was the hemorrhoid then what the symptoms you have stated here are likely to happened, but once the surgery is done then there must not be any symptoms and if you have some experience the it could be the post surgical event and it needs to be looked for that, I would suggest to visit the surgeon for this and discus about post surgical complications hope this information helps.
