What Causes Painful Burning Sensation In Breast?

My skin right side back, lower shoulder and clavicale area has had a painful burning sensation for about 2 weeks. Now that feeling has gone around to include my right breast. I had a similiar pain earlier this year, also, on the right but around my waist, front and back on the right side only. Neither time was there any noticable change to the skin. Fianaly we treated it with the shingles medication. It responded. Can this be a reoccurrance of the same problem? What should I do about it?

it is possible to have a recurrence of shingles. it is worthwhile to see your doctor because taking anti viral medicating can be helpful, especially if you take it early when the symptoms first appear. however, the pain can also be due to poor support from your bra, trauma, other types of musculoskeletal or chest pain, or many other things. so if it doesn't resolve, you should see your doctor.
