What Causes Painful Dark Red Blood Blister On Bottom Of Buttocks?

Hi I have a dark red blood blister looking lump on the bottom of my buttocks. It eventually pops and all that comes out is blood. I ve had about 6 of them now and don t know what they are or how to stop them. They are quite painful and make it hard to walk. Should i go to my ob or my family doctor? Thank you for your help.

Hi. I think they are boils (furuncles). You need a course of good antibiotic orally. In addition, add around 5-10 ml of betadine lotion in a big bowl with lukewarm water and sit in it for 10 minutes daily. It should help. Is your blood sugar normal?
