What Causes Painful Epididymitis With Swelling?
I recently went to a doctor for a physical, and she pressed badly on my epidimitis and I started to have constant pain that got worse during the day. Later at night, could not sleep from the pain, went to the emergency room--they did ultrasound-negative, urine test-negative, but the doctor felt swollen epidimitis. Was given an antibiotic shot and aitromicin-1g. taking 600 mg ibuprofen for twcice dauly, no change so far, still painful for the second day, is there anything I should do more, what is this?

Hard pressing on the inflamed epididymis can cause severe pain due to its closed-cavity effects.
Do not worry as your other ultrasonography is normal .
You should continue on the antibiotic and take Ibuprofen at 8 hourly interval meaning three times a day and take PPI to avoid gastritis.
Also do the following:
Masturbate to have release of the semen and this may help relief.
