My 69 year old husband has been having jaw/neck pain, pretty painful at times, it occurs at different times, yawning and resting. He is in good health otherwise, good exercise program etc. just wanted to know if there is a need to be concerned. He sees a doctor for physicals and blood pressure.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm. it could be muslce soreness, and may be problem with tmj,he could take a muscle relaxant and analgesics.. if problm persists plz consult a dentist.. do a luke warm hot and cold fermentation to the area alternataively, give rest to the affected joint , eat soft food and small bit sized portions ..may be it infected teeth also..hope it helps,, tc
