hi good morning. im fe 37 years old. iv got a problem in my right jew. actually iv been into this for almost a month now. when i wake up in the morning, i felt that it seems my right jew would lock when i yawn. but i can easily recover it. but this morning it becomes worst. i didn't feel anything in it when i wake up. but when i open my mouth to eat my breakfast, i almost want to scream cause of the pain in my jew. it's very painful and takes a few seconds for me to recover it. i cannot eat anymore. i even control my yawn now cause im afraid i cannot close my mouth again. please doc im BEGGING you to please give me an immediate response now. thanks
Hello!Welcome to HCM. This is chronic subluxation you are experiencing.You did not mention if you had any trauma or any other health issues. This can be due to connective tissue disorders,any trauma.
You must see your physician if you have any general health issues mentioned above. Do not open your mouth wide like yawning, while chewing. Retraction devices can help you. See a nearest oral surgeon immediately. In severe cases, a surgery may be necessary.
