What Causes Painful Knot On Shoulder?

I cant tell whether the pain in my shoulder is from AC Seperation grade 1, or a supposed dysfunction that my PT says might be the issue. Right now there is a knot in my shoulder. I want to say posterior deltoid, but im not sure. Its right underneath the edge of my right clavicle.

After going through your query I concluded that you have got soft tissue injury acromioclavicular area and around it as you are feeling a knot in that area. Treatment of it is rest to joint,icing and analgesic such as ibuprofen.Vitamin B and C is helpful in recovery. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
