I have eczema, have for years now. I have a rash on both my inner thighs and up the sides of my body, which I ve never had before, it s not been itch and burns to touch, it s painful getting dressed, but it s not hot to the touch! It s been burning for a couple of weeks now, but I ve only just noticed a rash.

Hi. Where are the eczematous lesions located? Not inner thigh i guess. Have you applied eczema medicines on thigh rash? Your thigh rash is probably tinea cruris ( a fungal infection) and might get aggravated if you apply creams that one uses for eczema. You need to apply antifungal creams like sertaconazole and terbinafine. Adding clotrimazole based dusting powder is useful. You might need oral anti-fungals but that would be determined by a dermatologist. Hope it helps.
