I had a filling a fortnight ago and i was in a lot of pain afterwards i returned to the dentist who filed the filling which meant i could eat again but now the gum near the tooth is very sore and now having problems eating again have i now got an infection in my gum?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm,, u might be having periapical r periodontal abscess, kindly get an x-ray for the affected area, u might need a course of antibiotics and analgesics,,do salt water salin gargle thrice daily, take a consult with ur dentist asap for a check up and treatment ..hope it helps,,tc
