What Causes Painful Swelling And Fluid Build Up In The Face Post Metal Plate Insertion?

I had 16 metal plates put in my face ie eye socket, on my cheeks and lower jaw. However my left side cheek been giving me so much pain after 4 month of the surgery. Swelling siffness sharp pain. Tighness now im at the stage cant even sleep on the side when i do it tigh up and get stiff and there so much fluid . its been going for a 2month now and getting worst to the stage my face all swollen up
