What Causes Painful Swelling In Hands And Fingers?

my hands and fingers have been unusually swollen and very painful, especially the left one, and I am a righty...the middle and ring finger are the worse, and I can not close my hand to make a fist...I bought some Australian Dream cream and have been using it for two days now, but the pain is no better, any sugggestions??

After going through your description, my advice would to find out the cause of multiple joint arthritis (poly arthritis) you may get following blood test for better control of pain- serum RA factor, ANA test,Anti CCP antibody test and serum uric acid.Meanwhile you may take ibuprofen to reduce pain.
