What Causes Painful Swelling On The Right Side Of The Labia Despite Taking Tamiflu?

I m pretty sure I have a bartholin cyst or abscess for the first time Saturday and Sunday I had a fever, thought I had the flu so I Started taking Tamiflu. Now I know different. I only had four Tamiflu pills. I m taking baths, putting tee tree oil on it and everything else but it s still swollen really bad and hurts. I have squeezed some of the puss out. but the whole right side labia is so swollen and really really hurts! is somethg else going on? What to do?

Hi,

If you squeezed out pus, it may be abscess caused due to infection. If proper antibiotics not started early, it can lead to the spreading of infection. Apply local antibiotic application. You can go for a swab culture sensitivity before applying ointment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
