What Causes Painful Thumps When Popping To Open?
My thumb pops to bend and unbend . The popping is at the joint near the nail, but seems to be connected to the joint at the base of the thumb as with a tendon or ligament. It is painful, particularly when popping to a open or straight position. This happened a year ago and has not improved.
