General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The blood in urine and pain while urinating can be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.

If the diagnosis is confirmed, I suggest using antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin.

I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

I recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
