What Causes Painful Vaginal Intercourse?

painful intercourse
hello i am almost 30, have had four c-sections, and a tubal. it has became painful to have sex. it often feels like i hv lesions on and inside my vagina. i hv only actually seen them once n it looked almost like a stretchmark that had tore open located just above and to the left of my clitoris. what could b causing this n what can i do? i miss being able to enjoy my sexlife n so does my husband. could it b caused by hormones? would hving a hysterectomy fix it? i was a nympho just a few yrs ago n i miss it.

Your age is just 30 years. It is very remote possibility at this age to have hormonal changes causing dryness of vagina.
Since you had all 4 C-sections, the chances of any injury to your vulva and clitoris is also very rare.
You should have mentioned whether you have any white or greenish vaginal discharge and otherwise itching at private parts.
Your lesions are over vulva and vaginal opening. So I do not feel hysterectomy is indicated. It is most unlikely to relieve you from these symptoms.
From your story, you seem to have some vaginal/vulval infection - mostly fungal or trichomonal. It does cause painful intercourse. With proper medications, you should feel OK. I would advise you to get checked up from a gynae doctor and have a look at the lesions. I would insist that both of you show the doctor and have the treatment simultaneously to avoid reinfections.
