What Causes Painless Bumps On The Tongue?

hi Doc I have 2 bumps on right side of my tongue for more than 6 weeks. first two week i had severe pain that went up to my right ear but after 2 weeks there is was mo more pain but still bumps are there. I consulted with dentist and he diagnosed it as an ulcer. I am worried as it could be cancer. I want to ask that is it possible in case of oral cancer that first it hurts with pain for some weeks and than becomes painless? the size is small and not increasing.

hello

Please dont worry as in cancer the pain will never disappear , you most probably would be having aphthous ulcers , which will disappear by themself , just gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day. If you can upload a picture of the bumps, then maybe i will be in a better position to guide you, thanks
