What Causes Palpitations And Irregular Beats?
I have been dealing with afib for a few years now,it would come and go sometimes it would race and other times just a quick palpitations,last night about 9pm I was getting irregular beats and it hasn t stopped and I couldn t sleep all night and have not slept yet today?

imbalance in electrolytes, thyroid levels, stress, anxiety,anaemia, drugs like broncho-dilators,or any cardiac problem.
please get evaluated for serum electrolyte levels,thyroid profile,ecg & cardiology opinion.
in your case atrial fibrillation being the cause you can start with betablockers or rate controlling drugs to prevent cardiac & related complications..
