What Causes Passage Of Chunk Of Hard Blood From An Ear?
a chunk of hard blood in a scab form about a half inch by half inch in size just came out my ear i did not have any visible cut or scab. 31yr old male, 180cm tall 12 stone 6 pound, had 2 wrist operations since october 2009 and also been admitted to hospital via a&e twice due to severe pain and inflamation in my wrist in the same period most recently on march 6th 2011 and im currently taking antibiotics since the above date with bloods being taken regulary but no real answers or reasons why being offered to me from my specialist.
You have two different problems, the one is related to wrist, its surgery and so on, your second question pertains about the extrusion of a chunk of hard material with blood from ear. The most probable cause I can think about are as follows: The hard chunk is most probably a wax with smear of blood or the layer of wax that may look like dark blood. Another reason can be fluid from middle ear pushing hte hard, blood may be from the tympanic membrane. I would advise you to consult an ENT Surgeon for this to be properly examined, see the ENT and find the cause and get treated accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
