What Causes Pea Sized Lump On The Gum With Half Face Swollen?
HI. I got toothache 2 days ago and yesterday, half of my face is swollen. today is a lil bit better but i found out a pea sized lump on my gum in the incisors, where my toothcahe occurs. its still painful but not as irritating as before cos its tolerable. What should I do and what could it be?
Hi, From the description you give, you may have a dental abscess. This will need antibiotics and pain relief. I suggest you go to the ED for assessment. In the meantime, paracetamol and ibuprofen will help any pain and swelling. Regards, Dr K A Pottinger
