Hello Dr., My question is what causes peeling skin on the toes. My daughter has them along with blisters at times and they can be painful to touch or if she brushes against something and or walking. They can be purplish then peel in a few days. She has never noticed if she is running a low grade temp. (It disappeared by the time she seen a specialist.)
It could be either foot eczema or epidermolysis bullosa. I would recommend you to consult a doctor and get it evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
