Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my lower left pelvic area. Not in the vagina, but more like beside. the pain is inbetween my leg and vagina. maybe bone? not real sure how to describe it. the pain when I am walking goes down from the left hip to the area and sometimes it travels up. When it shoots down I loose strength in my left leg. CT scan shows no abnormalities. All blood and urine tests are good, with the exception of hypothyroidism. I am having to sleep with an icepack in that area and pain prescription, until they can figure out what is going on.
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Possibly you are having osteomlacia.Do test for serum calcium and Vitamin 25 (OH) D level. You need to undergo plain x-ray pelvic bone,if not done, to exclude Looser's zone in pubic rami.
