hello, I have been dating a guy for awhile now, and he recently sent a pic of his penis to me. The shaft of the penis near the tip is red and chaffing. Like chapped. He says he hasnt had sex in 18 months, but does masturbate frequently. Should I ask more questions before we have intercourse?
It is possible for excessive masturbation to cause the head of the penis to become red. One may also develop this type of rash with smegma related infection. This can be seen when one has a heat related injury to the penis as well.
Along with this, it would be a good idea to take an STD test. The STD test would help to determine the reason for the symptoms and once treated, sexual intercourse can be had.
I hope this helps. Please reach out to me if you have any other questions.
