What Causes Persistent Brownish Vaginal Discharge Along With Irregular Periods?

I have irregular periods and I m having brown spots in discharge for the past few days. On the 11th I saw a bright red spot and that was the only time i saw it. My back hurts all the time but I think that s because my breasts are so big. I m gassy. I m constantly wondering if I m pregnant but because I m irregular I have no clue. Could you give me some insight on the situation?

Hi,

You can rule out pregnancy by urine HCG card. For your irregular period rule out a thyroid problem, diabetes, ovarian problem etc., like a gynecological problem by pelvic examination and USG pelvis. If no organic cause found than rule out hormonal imbalance by serum prolactin, DHEA, FSH, LH estimation etc. According to the cause-specific treatment given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
