What Causes Persistent Burning Pain Around The Right Tragus?

Hi, I have a burning sensation around my Tragus (right ear)and when I press on it its very painful. The pain sometimes is behind my ear, the helix, and just behind my earlobe. Sometimes I also feel small sharp pains in and around my ear and a slight pull on my face. If I pull my face to left sometimes I get a pain going down me neck as well. I ve been told it could be TN or my jaw so I went to see my dentist. She picked up I grind my teeth so now I m wearing a mouth guard. It s been 5 weeks and the pain is still there. I m also seeing a chiropractor, also 5 weeks now and nothing! The pain is stil there. I ve also seen two ENT specialists and they both couldn t find anythin. Please help!

hi,
most probably you may have a temporomandibular joint problem or a masseter muscle problem. the history you have given is not sufficient. either way I suggest you keep eating on the left side. take soft diet avoid anything hard to bite. along with that take
chlorozoxazone twice daily for 1 week
if symptoms persist ask your dentist to take an option to assess the TMJ joint.
hope your query is answered
regards.....
