What Causes Persistent Cough After Being Treated For Bronchitis?

I am currently being treated for bronchitis and today is my sixth day of antibiotics. I have today developed very sensitive skin to the point of hurting at the touch. I am still coughing and have completed a five day steroid course as well. Please advise if i should be worried about this new development? There is no rash.

hello welcome to HCM
i am dr sunil and i am a pulmonologist . i would lie to answer u r query
i dont think the sensitivity of your skin is because of using oral steroids for 5 days.easy bruisability is a side effect of steroidonly for chronic use.
regarding ur persistent cough it could be of viral origin which may take 14 days to subside
i hope your question is answered
