Scheduled heart stress test in a week. WhAt else should they look for . Been 4 weeks and feel awful
Thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. Since your pulmonary functions are good, no need to worry for lung causes. Yes, you are right about cardiac cause. Heart related problems can cause sweating and breathlessness. So get done stress test. Other possible causes are 1. Anaemia 2. Thyroid related problems (mainly hyperthyroidism) So ask doctor to check for CBC (complete blood count) and thyroid profile (S.TSH, S.T3, S.T4 level). CBC is needed to rule out anaemia and thyroid profile is needed to rule out hyperthyroidism.
