What Causes Persistent Cough With Pain In Ribs?
I had a cough for 3 weeks along with left sided rib pain and was being treated for bronchitis. My rib pain continues and I noticed a lump on the lower left ribcage. It looks like bone but protrudes more than the right side. I was attempting to do some stretching today and felt a pop with pain as well. Any ideas.

I understand your situation. The pain in ribs/chest like yours may be due to following,
a. Muscle pain due to cough/exercise
b. Costochondritis
c. Bony abnormalities
So, please concentrate on your cough and get treatment for it as it may be the likely cause of your pain though there are other causes.
