Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic

I have read your query and understand your concern, the the round object is a phlegm which is secreted by mucous membranes in respiratory system suggesting most likely an Lower respiratory tract infection in my opinion.I advice my patients with similar symptoms to:

1. Drink warm water and do gargling by mixing warm water with salt 3-4 times a day ,if throat pain persists you can buy tantum gargles(combination of antiseptic and anesthetic)/ betadine gargles.

2. Avoid unhealthy, oily and cold foodstuffs.

3. Eat well to avoid feeling weak and to improve your immunity.

4. Take a course of antibiotics like tab. Augmentin for 5 days which will help reduce the infection along with expectorant like TusQ-X+ for clearing the pent up secretions.

5. If still the cough is not relieved its essential to visit your nearest physician for an expert opinion about getting an chest X-ray done to rule out any lung pathology as it may well be the possibility.

Hope I have answered your query.

Kindly rate my answer if you find it useful. Feel free to ask any queries.Take care.
