Hello doctor I am a 37 year old lady with lgmd type 2 b. Now besides this I am having fevers which start in the month of March and go away in 2-3 months. All tests are non conclusive of any disease. Last I kept changing antibiotics and fever went away on its own in 4 months. This year it again started around March with onset of throat infection. I started with antibiotics and got several tests done. Kept changing doctors and kept eating antibiotics and got TB GOLD Test, blood tests, urine tests, ultrasound whole abdomen , CT scan chest and thyroid test. Fever starts around 9-10 am and continues to rises till 9pm and then starts decling. it touched 100F max. Cheeks go red and body becomes weak. i was also put on heavy antibiotic IV course for a week. In between urine infection occurred twice and was treated again with antibiotics and creams. Now after 33 days of Akurit 4 ( am taking 3 tabs daily) with Benadon and zintec 150.) fever still persists. Sometyms its lowered around 99.2 but other dats it shoots upto 100.
