Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there are no any other associated symptoms, this might suggest a viral fever. Give him Paracetamol 3 times daily, drink enough fluids and a soft diet. Let him take rest for 3 days. If no relief by then, we can evaluate further. Take him to ED if he becomes very lethargic and coldness of peripheries persists beyond 2 hours.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
