What Causes Persistent Fever?
Hello. My friend had fever the other day. He thought it was gone yesterday but it seems that his fever went back today. He measured it and it's 39C. What can be his sickness? Before he got sick, he had an overnight shift for their school fair. Is this might be the cause? Thanks.

Your friend can have viral infection that causing fever. Over the counter anti pyretic can be prescribed for fever. I need to know if any associated complaint present like cough, sore throat, chest pain, burning micturition etc to comment further.
