Post colonoscopy pain would wear off after some time. He could have some anti spasmodic for this pain. Prostate is a separate issue which occurs in such age group and for this he has to be seen by a urologist. If I were your doctor, I would refer him to his treating specialist in case of increase in the intensity of his problems.
