What Causes Persistent Mucositis After Radiation Therapy?

I have finished radiation therapy in dec 2014 yet my mucositis persists and now my eustation tube is irritated giving me pain when swallowing and inner ear pain on my left side which is the side the cancer had formed. I am cancer free as per CT and Pet Scans but the pain at times in my ear is severe what do you reccomend

It's one of the side effects of radiotherapy. U should take multivitamins and antioxidant tablets. Also take plenty of fluids, juices orally and consume green leafy vegetables. And ofcourse go for regular follow up for your cancer treatment.
