I have had chronic non productive cough for 14 weeks. No alergies, asthma, reflux. Chest xray clear. two rounds antibiotic early on but not sick. RX inhaler and cough syrup no effect. Small vocal cord nodule found recently through endoscopy from coughing. QUESTION: The Neck and Chest CT scans with contrast list a couple things. (Doc said all was fine) 1) subcentimeter hepatic hypodensities....what causes that? 2) Mild bibasilar atelectasis or fibrosis. ? 3) Mildly prominent right submental lymph node 8mm. Multiple mildly prominent posterior cervical triangle lymph nodes seen bilaterally. I just wonder if all that is common or if i need to follow up with someone. doc says everything fine.
