Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My right shoulder hurts when I get too hungry or full. Is this normal? It feels like a muscle or nerve pain, not the joint. It has always been this way, as far back as I can remember, but I ve never met anyone else who knows what I m talking about. What s going on with me?
I have studied your case and I think that you are having shoulder rotator cuff problem. In this condition there is torn tendon in the shoulder and it needs MRI to confirm the diagnosis. If MRI shows that there is tear in rotator cuff than treatment is physiotherapy or arthroscopic surgery. This is a very small surgery and it will completely relieved your shoulder pain and you will also able to move your shoulder. Also some time tendon is not torn but there can be increase in size of the bone. For that type of problem also arthroscopy offers very good solution. some time when there is only bursitis there is only need of steroid injection in the shoulder. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know of there is any other followup questions. Thanks
