Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent swelling in the lips which are mainly due to allergic reaction or it could be angioedema. Over exposure to sun can also cause such symptoms. I would suggest you to take antihistamine tablets as it will subside the allergy and your symptoms will be resolved immediately. You should take ibuprofen or Tylenol to prevent pain. Drink a lot water. Apply ice cold pack in that swollen area it will subside swelling. Consult your allergy specialist for proper diagnosis . Your allergist may want to conduct skin tests, blood tests , skin-prick test and urine tests to identify the cause and rule causes like angioedema. For now apply cold compresses to affected area. Cover your face to protect it from harmful UV radiations.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
