i have had continuous vomiting for 2 days and unable to keep aything down. im wording because for a day i felt something on my lower left side of stomach like it was about to pop i could even notice it bulging at same time and my entire stomach felt like it was compressed it hurt bad but would only last few seconds. today the left side didnt bulge but i finally was able to keep water down a few hrs ago but it still feels tight and hurts for a few seonds when i get up and i feel like rotating sides helps the discomfort of stomach feeling tight. i was very shaky yesterday and today i feel slightly dizzy for a second whenever i get up. any suggestions? im worried it could be appendicitis but i havent gone to er because it seems to finally get a little better.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Something bulging in the left lower abdomen followed by vomiting, momentary pain in abdomen and so on is indicative of the following:
This can be an partial obstruction of hernia content that got reduced and hence the other problems that followed.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Go to ER or a General Surgeon.
You need the X-ray of the abdomen in standing position, CT scan of the abdomen as Ultrasound does not show many a things.
Tests of blood, urine and stool.
Get admitted for a day or so and have intravenous fluids and antibiotics and have continuous clinical monitoring.
Get operated if indicated so.
