What Causes Persistent Vomiting In A Child?

I have a four year old son that has been vomiting for five (5) days. There are no other obvious symptoms like fever or diarrhea. It is just the vomiting. He is also telling me that his tummy hurts and puts his finger just above his belly button. Nothing is helping (over-the-counter medicines). Any suggestions?

This could be due to infection and this need to be ruled out, second this could be food allergy in either case this need to be ruled out and for that better to get done the clinical examination, in pediatric age group need to take any risk better to see the pediatrician, take care have a nice day.
