Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Persistent cold may be due to:
1. Allergies
2. Eosinophilia
3. Sinusitis
4. Repeated viral infections
5. Un-resolving primary infection
6. Anatomical defects of nose

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use tablet lecope-AD twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will do X-ray paranasal sinuses and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
